SUST Admission Result 2023- (Merit List) Check Now

SUST Admission Result has been declared on 2023. Though the authority does not assure us about the result publication date, we are suspecting that the SUST admission result will be published on 07 November 2022. Applicants can check their merit list from admission.sust.edu.bd or gstadmission.ac.bd website.

Candidates who have been placed in the merit list, should confirm their primary admission with an admission confirmation fee of BDT 5000 TK and SSC/ equivalent and HSC/ equivalent Main transcript copies have to submit to the university authority.

SUST Admission Result (Merit List)

The merit list will be made according to GST admission test results. Applicants’ unit-wise merit list and subject preference list-wise department will be assigned. However, the architecture department’s merit list will be prepared according to GST admission test result mark and the Drawing & architecture-related GK test mark.

The merit list will be published on the website and the admission process will be continued. Corresponding to empty seats, the migration process will be continued automatically.

How to Check SUST Admission Result 2023?

Shajalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet 1st year undergraduate admission program 2021-22 result has been announced. Selected candidates can take final admission from the university. The SUST Admission merit list is now available on the SUST’s official admission.sust.edu.bd website or GST clustered admission system gstadmission.ac.bd website.

  • Search your roll number from the PDF file.

SUST Admission Circular 2022

SUST Admission Circular 2021-22 has been released. The SUST Admission Application has been started on 17 October 2022 and it will be continued till 27 October 2022. The admission and application will be controlled by the central GST clustered admission System. Eligible and interested candidates can apply to the Shahajalal University of Science & Technology, Sylhet Admission of 1st Year undergraduate program for the academic year 2021-22.

Candidates who have got 30% percent marks in the GST Admission test, can apply to the GST clustered 22 universities with a separate application fee for each university. Let’s read through the SUST Admission Circular, Application Guideline, and Result Merit list.

There are total of three Units in the GST admission System- A Unit (Science), B Unit (Humanities) and C Unit (Business Studies). A Unit student can apply to A, B and c unit. B unit and C unit student can apply both B and C Unit. There are total of 1051 seat in the A unit, 535 seats in the B unit and 80 seats in the C unit (including with quota seat).

Application Qualification:

Candidates who have got 30 percent of pass mark can apply to the SUST admission 1st year undergraduate program 2021-22.

Application Timeline:

The online application process for SUST admission has begun on 17 October 2022 at 12.00 pm and will be finished on 27 October 2022 at 11.59 pm. The application fee can be paid till 28 October 2022 at 11.59 pm.

Application Fee:

Applicants should pay application fee of BDT 500 TK to complete their SUST admission online application process. However, candidates who are interested to admit in architecture department, should pay extra practical fee of BDT 300 TK, in total BDT 800 TK should be paid.

How to Apply for the SUST Admission 2022?

Candidates can apply to the SUST Admission from GST admission website’s Apply to Individual University link or admission.sust.edu.bd website. They have to login with GST applicant id and GST password. If anyone forget their GST applicant id and password, they can recover it from GST admission website. Now, let’s follow the steps to fill up the SUST admission application form.

  • Browse the admission.sust.edu.bd website.
    • Sign in the website with GST Applicant ID and GST Password.
    • Applicants can see their profile with their SSC, HSC and GST admission test summery. Eligible subject list also would be shown.
    • If candidates interested to apply in architecture and quota, they should give the respective information.
    • On the next page, applicants can see payment option and pay BDT 500 taka through mobile banking.
    • Then applicants will get eligible subject choice list.
    • Make serial your subject preference list very carefully.
    • Click on the submit option and download the Acknowledgment slip.
    • Before application deadline, candidates can change their subject preference list.

GST Applicant ID and Password Recovery:

Sometimes candidates may forget their GST Applicant ID and Password. It is very typical for all the applicants. By following few steps you can get back your GST applicant ID and GST password.

  • Go to the gstadmission.ac.bd website.
  • Click on the Recovery Applicant ID and Password.
  • Provide your HSC/ equivalent Roll number, Board name and passing year and press the submit button.
  • On the Dashboard, you get your Applicant id and others information.
  • After a while, you will get a SMS with your GST Applicant ID and GST Password to your mobile number which you used in the GST application.
  • Restore it for further GST clustered admission formalities.

SUST Final Admission Process

After publishing all the merit list and migration result, the final admission process will be start. Candidates have to pay the full admission fee in addition to BDT 5000 TK. If any candidates do not admit in the schedule time after getting selected in the merit list, the empty seat will be fill up from the waiting list.
